Yatima Group Trust Fund

Yatima Group Trust Fund is a registered charitable organization operating in Tanzania, established on March 7, 2001, with a deep commitment to improving the lives of vulnerable children and women. With over two decades of experience, the organization has grown to become a reliable force for social change and human development, particularly in underserved communities. Rooted in the principles of compassion, inclusiveness, and sustainability, Yatima Group Trust Fund addresses the complex challenges faced by orphans, vulnerable children (OVCs), and marginalized women. Through integrated and participatory approaches, the organization designs and implements programs that aim not only to meet immediate needs—such as food, shelter, clothing, and healthcare—but also to provide long-term solutions through education, psychosocial support, and economic empowerment.

Our Strategic Direction

Our mission is to uplift and protect the most vulnerable members of society—particularly orphans, vulnerable children, and marginalized women—by ensuring they have access to essential services such as education, healthcare, shelter, nutrition, and economic opportunities. We are committed to building sustainable, community-driven solutions that address the root causes of poverty and inequality. Through advocacy, capacity building, and collaborative partnerships, we work to create lasting change that upholds human dignity, promotes social justice, and ensures that no one is left behind.

To create a just, inclusive, and empowered society where every child and woman—regardless of background or circumstance—has the opportunity to live in dignity, security, and freedom. We envision a future where all children have access to quality education, proper healthcare, nutritious food, and a safe environment, and where all women are economically and socially empowered to actively participate in shaping their families and communities. Our vision is guided by the belief that every human being deserves the opportunity to thrive and contribute meaningfully to society.
